The client needed to minimise employment law compliance risks arising from the use of external staff at short notice. In addition to tight deadlines, the challenge lay in bringing together requirements from more than eight specialist departments across legal, compliance and IT, and creating a consistent, error-free database.
From paper files to digital platforms
KPMG first analysed and cleaned up the existing data to create a robust foundation for a digital compliance platform. The central concept involved transforming the traditional physical file from the real world into a digital file. This was made available to all relevant departments as an intuitive, user-friendly tool, facilitating close, interdisciplinary collaboration.
