We are continuing our series of studies with the Global Female Leaders Outlook 2025. Since 2018, almost 5,000 women in leadership positions from more than 50 countries have already taken part.

Further results at a glance
As in previous years, leadership qualities (49%) and strategic thinking (43%) are seen as key characteristics. In 2025, however, hard work will come to the fore, emphasised by 50% of respondents.
Almost two thirds are still exposed to prejudice and discrimination in the workplace. There is no recognisable positive development in other areas either.
76% consider their personal network to be one of the greatest success factors for their own career and also rely on social media. However, this increasing visibility also harbours dangers: Many report experiences of digital violence.
For the first time in five years, we are seeing a shift in investment strategy - away from capital expenditure on employee development and towards the acquisition and implementation of new technologies.
