Before we say goodbye for the summer break, we will be back with a double issue for the months of July and August.
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published two documents intended to support standardised European sustainability reporting.
The IFRIC update June 2024 was published. Topics of this issue are: "Classification of Cash Flows related to Variation Margin Calls on 'Collateralised-to-Market' Contracts" and "Disclosure of Revenue and Expenses for Reportable Segments".
IDW ERS FAB 7 on HGB accounting for commercial partnerships was also adopted. The final version is intended to replace the existing IDW RS HFA 7 as amended. Finally, we would like to inform you about the publication of two briefing papers on DRS amendments due to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) by the German Accounting Standards Committee (DRSC).
In the publications section, I would like to draw your attention in particular to the publications on IFRS 18: How companies communicate their financial performance in the future. First Impressions" and a "Talkbook" are now available.
