Volker Merkel is a Partner in the Advisory, Performance & Strategy, Enterprise Performance division at KPMG in Germany.
He has more than 25 years of experience in supporting senior executives in identifying, planning and implementing measures to improve the performance of back-office areas, including the transformation of organisations and operating models and the IT landscape. His main focus areas are digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes within SAP and cloud-based SAAS solutions.
His clients include life science & pharmaceutical companies, energy and industrial companies in various sectors looking for optimisation and automation options and ways to improve their organisational structures.
For KPMG in Germany, he also leads the alliances with BlackLine, TrinTech, Redwood and Wianco at KPMG in Germany.
