Dr. Ladislava Klein has been a member of the Managing Board of KPMG in Germany since 2023 and, as CMO, is responsible for the Markets division. In a rapidly changing environment, she and her team anticipate the challenges faced by companies and organizations in various sectors at an early stage in order to support them as a competent partner in securing their success in the long term. Since October 2021, she has been the Regional Head of KPMG's West Region in Cologne. Here she looks after international corporates as well as well-known family businesses and is committed to the economic development of the region. The numerous young entrepreneurs who give the region its innovative face are a particular matter close to her heart.

She began her career at KPMG in 1997 in Cologne, directly after completing her studies and doctorate. In 2004, she passed the tax consultant exam and was later appointed partner. In 2016, she took over as Regional Head of Tax in Cologne, and in 2018 she was given Germany-wide responsibility for setting up and managing the Corporate Tax Services service line.
