Jonathan Eßer

Jonathan Eßer is a Partner in the Trade & Customs divison at KPMG and heads the Virtual Centre of Excellence for Export Controls and Sanctions in the EMEA region. 

With his many years of experience - both in consulting and in customs administration - he provides support in:

• the introduction, review and further development of trade compliance management systems,
• process consulting in the areas of export control, sanctions and customs law,
• the adaptation of corporate structures to regulatory requirements in foreign trade,
• the application for and administration of licences and permits,
• the operational implementation of customs and export control requirements,
• as well as readiness checks and measures to prevent sanctions evasion.
