Verena Scheibe has been a partner at KPMG since May 2026 and is part of the International Transaction Tax service line. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in transaction-related tax advice and advises on national and cross-border M&A, private equity and joint venture transactions.
She specialises in transactions in the energy and infrastructure, transport and maritime sectors. She focuses in particular on the asset classes wind (onshore and offshore), photovoltaics, grid and port infrastructure as well as related areas such as geothermal energy and BESS.
Her range of services includes the tax structuring and support of transactions, the implementation of tax due diligences as well as tax advice and participation in transaction documentation.
Before joining KPMG, Verena Scheibe worked for many years as a tax partner in the tax transaction advisory department of an international law firm and advised on a large number of national and international projects.
