Thomas Soehner has been a partner at KPMG in the Indirect Tax Services department since April 2026.
He has extensive experience in national and international VAT law as well as in transaction-related tax advice in the M&A environment. His main areas of practice include structural and transactional advice before and after corporate transactions (in particular VAT tax due diligence and SPA advice) as well as the optimisation of VAT processes and the transformation and digitalisation of the tax function.
Before joining KPMG, Thomas Soehner worked for several years as Head of Tax at an international multimedia company, where he was responsible for the tax function at a global level.
