“The digital capital market will supplant the traditional one. At this point, no one can say when that will happen or which parts of the value chain will be transformed first. That is why it is essential to have a clear strategy and a holistic approach and to actively manage the transformation process.”
Thomas Schiebe began his professional career in the treasury department of a medium-sized private bank. There, he was responsible for short-term liquidity and interest rate risk management and actively traded interest rate and FX products. At KPMG, Thomas advises clients on strategic and procedural issues related to treasury and trading, process optimization, and regulatory requirements in the capital markets environment.
In doing so, he works with our clients to develop business cases, defines efficient solutions and concepts for optimization along the value chain as part of preliminary studies, and implements them upon request. In addition to his work in the traditional capital markets, Thomas is also well-versed in the digital capital markets and supports transformation processes of all kinds. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the banking and capital markets sectors.
