Marco Schulte has been with KPMG since 2003 and brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of Contract Compliance, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Internal Audit. Since 2008, he has advised and audited national and international companies on compliance with complex business agreements and supported them in managing business and regulatory risks.
His primary area of expertise is the execution of Contract Compliance Audits (Third-Party Audits) for licensing, distribution, supply, marketing, and cooperation agreements. Through these audits, he enhances transparency regarding financial and operational contractual obligations, identifies opportunities for optimization, and strengthens both compliance and collaboration between business partners.
In addition, he possesses extensive expertise in the assessment and advisory of Compliance Management Systems (CMS), Risk Management Systems (RMS), and Internal Control Systems (ICS), as well as many years of experience leading national and international projects. His industry expertise includes automotive, energy, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and the public sector.
