At KPMG Financial Services, Andrés Méndez Inclán advises banks and asset managers on their complex transformation projects – from strategy right through to effective implementation. As Solution Lead for Transformation, he designs and manages complex, often efficiency- and AI-driven transformation projects and implements them effectively – from the development and implementation of vision statements and Target Operating Models (TOM) through to operationalisation and the implementation of measures and reorganisation.
A particular focus is on AI transformation: drawing on his professional background, Andrés provides comprehensive (end-to-end) support to financial institutions in their AI transformation. He not only embeds AI strategically, but also implements it effectively across processes, organisational structures and governance models. To this end, he and his team develop and implement AI strategies and bespoke AI target operating models.
His aim: complex transformation projects that do not get bogged down in the concept phase, but are genuinely integrated into his clients’ day-to-day operations and deliver the targeted efficiency and performance goals. It is precisely this that leads his clients to regard him as a reliable partner – far beyond individual projects.
Andrés has more than 15 years’ experience in management consultancy and leadership – including as a head of department with managerial and financial responsibility for three departments (Strategy, Processes, Regulatory Affairs) within a major international corporation. His interdisciplinary background enables him to take a holistic approach to consultancy – methodologically, technologically and on a human level.
