Axel Luckhardt is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Financial Services practice.
He helps financial institutions manage their IT in line with its actual value contribution. To this end, he creates transparency regarding the costs, performance and risks associated with their IT, as well as its contribution to the company’s success, and develops management models that consistently align technology investments with business objectives and regulatory requirements. His areas of expertise include IT value management, IT business management, IT financial management, IT operations and IT governance.
Another focus of his work is on designing modern IT organisations and operating models. He supports companies in aligning structures, responsibilities and capabilities so that they can meet the growing demands for agility, efficiency, resilience and innovation. With the increasing importance of AI, the focus for many companies is shifting not only to the technology itself, but also to the ability to manage its use effectively. Axel helps to establish the organisational, technological and governance-related prerequisites for the sustainable use of AI.
