Johannes Hanshen has been with KPMG for over 20 years and has been a partner in the Audit Corporates division for more than ten years. As a chartered accountant, he is responsible for auditing listed and internationally active groups and is particularly at home in the context of companies listed on the DAX and MDAX. In this role, he acts as the key point of contact for management boards, supervisory boards and audit committees.
His sector specialism lies in the aerospace and aviation sectors. Here, he has many years’ experience in auditing and advising complex, internationally structured companies, as well as in assessing challenging issues relating to financial reporting, transformation and capital market communications.
Furthermore, as a board member of the Audit Committee Institute e. V., Johannes Hanshen is committed to promoting professional supervisory board practice. In this role, he advises supervisory boards and senior executives on current issues relating to good corporate governance, regulatory developments and the growing demands regarding oversight, transparency, risk management and responsible corporate governance.
