An enlightening year
GRI 102-14
The past year brought many changes to which we had to adapt quickly. It was not an easy year, but we acquired new working habits. Many of us had worked remotely only infrequently before the pandemic, yet we adapted to working in a home environment to meet the demands of clients, teams, and ourselves surprisingly quickly.
Personal contact with colleagues and clients is important for our company culture, internal training, relationship building, and informal discussions often yielding the best ideas. In the future, we will therefore combine office work and virtual collaboration. We want to ensure sufficient flexibility, maintain the quality service our clients demand, further develop business relationships, and transfer knowledge, skills, and work habits. Face to face contacts remain indispensable for the fulfilment of these goals.
I am pleased that sustainability has become an increasingly important topic for more than just our employees. This trend is also confirmed by the growing interest of our clients, for whom we help to set ESG strategies, facilitate stakeholder dialogue, and support them in non-financial reporting, among other things.
I want to thank all my colleagues for their work and commitment. I trust that in the next fiscal year we will be able to meet more in person.
