Please describe your role at KPMG in Cyprus and the kind of work you do.
I am a Board Member in the Risk Consulting department, leading the risk modelling & finance and risk transformation teams for the banking and insurance industry. Our focus is delivering high quality advice and solutions to our clients in the areas of risk modelling, and risk & finance transformation, through taking market leading approaches and adjusting them to our clients’ needs.
What are some of the challenges clients might face when implementing digital transformation initiatives?
Resistance to change is perhaps the most important obstacle to the successful implementation of any transformation initiative. This is why it is key to ensure the transformation journey is supported by strong internal sponsorship, as well as a clear internal and external communication strategy.
What excites you most about leading your team?
Our people are our most valuable asset. Our talented teams are what make us stand out from others and the most important factor in us being able to provide high quality services to our clients. What excites me the most, is the opportunity to support and mentor my team throughout their career journey, and at the same time the opportunity to learn and grow as a professional through my interaction with them.
