Please describe your role at KPMG in Cyprus and the kind of work you do.

I lead the People & Change, and Customer advisory services focusing on ensuring that business transformations are people-centric and drive value for employees, customers, and businesses.

What do you love most about your work?

What I love most about my work is the opportunity to work with a great and diverse team of colleagues, where everyone is heard, and everyone contributes to the team efforts. Also, I love the opportunity to collaborate with diverse clients, leveraging innovative approaches to solve complex challenges and drive impactful change in organisations.

The people aspect of transformation is critical to success. How do you ensure people feel supported and involved in the change process?

To ensure people feel supported and involved in the change process, we prioritise a people-first approach at KPMG in Cyprus. This involves actively engaging employees throughout the transformation journey, soliciting feedback, and providing tailored support to address their concerns and needs.

i. Is it the KPMG approach to business and technology transformation that makes the difference?
Yes, our approach to business and technology transformation at KPMG in Cyprus integrates a deep understanding of the human element, ensuring that technology and processes are designed with people in mind to drive sustainable change.

ii. Is it people first?
Absolutely! We firmly believe in putting people first. By prioritising the needs and experiences of employees and customers, we ensure that transformations are successful, truly impactful and deliver long-term value.

iii. How would you describe KPMG’s culture?
Our culture is characterised by collaboration, innovation and a commitment to excellence. We foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and individuals are empowered to make a meaningful impact.

iv. Is the culture changing?
Our culture is constantly evolving to adapt to the changing needs of our people, our clients and the business landscape. We embrace change and continuously strive to enhance our culture to better support our people and clients.

Companies undergoing large scale business transformation are often focused on the technology and process changes. Are there other areas they should be mindful of to create or preserve value in their organisation during change?

While technology and process changes are crucial, companies should also prioritise areas such as organisational culture, leadership development, and change management capabilities to create and preserve value during transformation. Any transformation is ultimately always about people, as they are the ones to embrace and adopt any technology or process. Neglecting the people side of it, the success of transformation will be hindered.

In your view, how are KPMG people making a difference?

Our people are making a difference by bringing a unique blend of expertise, creativity and empathy to every engagement. Whether it's designing innovative solutions, facilitating effective change management, or empowering clients to achieve their people agenda and business goals, our people are dedicated to driving impactful outcomes and delivering value in every interaction.

Our culture is characterised by collaboration, innovation and a commitment to excellence. We foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and individuals are empowered to make a meaningful impact.
