Eleni is a Board Member at Risk Consulting department at KPMG in Cyprus. She has accumulated many years of experience as an advisor in Financial Services Risk and Regulation in Cyprus and the UK. Over the years, Eleni has acted as an advisor in a number of systemic engagements in Cyprus where she helped regulators and banking clients to respond to the challenges that arose after the financial crisis and to implement regulatory changes. She has primarily assisted banking institutions on credit and stress testing issues, advised banks on the ECB SREP framework and SSM approach and assisted regulators and non-banking financial institutions on the implementation of new regulatory frameworks, such for climate risks. She is regularly advising clients on corporate governance and relevant regulatory requirements and on the quality and quantity of management information and risk reporting, and liquidity and capital management issues. During her time with KPMG in the UK, Eleni completed a 9-month secondment to the Financial Services Authority Supervision Division where she acted as a technical expert on the implementation of SREP.
