Carmel is a partner in our corporate tax group. She has over 20 years’ experience providing tax services to many Irish and international clients. She has advised extensively on all areas in the real estate sector including tax efficient disposals & refinancings, private equity structures, relevant contracts tax (RCT), REIT regime, and debt acquisition transactions.

Carmel advises many Irish and international companies on efficiently structuring their businesses at all stages in the lifecycle. Her clients are in the technology, life sciences and energy sectors. Areas of particular focus includes Intellectual Property planning, tax efficient supply chains, mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, inbound and outbound investment, fundraising and financing.
