Terry is Director of Planning and Infrastructure Economics in KPMG's Infrastructure, Assets & Places group. He joined KPMG in 2021 and has a focus on demographics and urban economics. He is an award-winning urban economist, who frequently publishes insights into how cities and regions function.

He helps businesses and governments make informed decisions by taking complex datasets and distilling them into simple to understand insights. He has advised all tiers of government, ASX-listed companies, private businesses and not-for-profits.

Terry’s project experience is extensive, ranging from preparing transport project business cases, housing strategies, natural disaster resilience planning, demographic analysis, and preparing land use and transport strategies. Terry has a keen interest in the transformation of cities and regions via economic diversification and improved land use and transport integration.

Terry is a prior recipient of the National Planning Champion Award by Planning Institute of Australia, which is presented to a non-planner who promotes sound planning and raises awareness of related issues to the wider community.

Terry’s dynamic presentation style makes him a popular television spokesperson and presenter at industry events and conferences.
