André advises multinational companies (MNCs) on choosing the location of their key value drivers and works predominantly with groups from North America and Asia-Pacific with expansion or relocation plans in Europe. He heads KPMG Switzerland’s business development efforts in this field and his primary focus is on Value Chain Analysis (VCA) as a methodology to evaluate and (re)locate key value drivers across different business locations. André brings a Life Sciences specialization to his role and acts as the editor of the biannual “Site Selection Report for Life Sciences Companies in Europe”.
Prior to his role at KPMG, André led the Swiss Federal Foreign Investment Promotion Agency’s operations for North America and was based in New York. Before that, he was a scientific advisor within the Swiss Federal State Secretariat for Economic Affairs where he focused on redesigning the Swiss federal regional economic development policy and evaluating the eligibility of private sector projects for federal grants and tax holidays.
André brings a wealth of experience to MNCs with existing or planned operations in Europe and is KPMG’s primary contact for economic development projects for regional and national agencies.
