Canadian Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct lays out the expectations of ethical behavior for all the people of KPMG, based on the foundation of our KPMG Values

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct lays out our firm’s values, which guide the actions of everyone at KPMG throughout the world.

It clearly identifies how our people are expected to treat each other and our clients, and our duty to uphold public interest. By committing to the values and expected behaviors in the Code, we can ensure we maintain the strong ethical culture and high level of integrity that our clients and community members rely on. The Canadian Code applies to all KPMG Partners and employees—regardless of title or position— and serves to provide clear guidance to help them make sound choices, exercise good judgment and highlights resources available to help uphold those principles.

The original Canadian Code from 2005 continues to be updated regularly to reflect new developments in law, regulation and professional ethics. It also reflects our shared purpose to inspire confidence through the work we do, as well as empower positive sustainable change across society as a whole. Guided by our values and a deep-seated commitment to always doing the right thing – with integrity – we will continue to deliver excellence far into the future.

We respectfully acknowledge that KPMG offices across Turtle Island (North America) are located on the traditional, treaty, and unceded territories of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
