Yvonne is a Partner in KPMG’s Deal Advisory Real Estate Appraisal and Advisory practice based in Toronto. Yvonne has a strong appraisal/valuation consulting background with over 30 years of experience. She currently holds the designations of AACI from the Appraisal Institute of Canada, MRICS from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and Q. Arb from the ADR Institute of Canada. 

Yvonne is involved in a variety of valuation assignments in all asset classes (hotels, retail malls, office towers, multi-residential complexes, land, and development sites) as well as portfolio evaluations across Canada, lease analysis, market rental studies, feasibility studies, highest and best use analysis, and mortgage financing valuations. Yvonne specializes in the planning, procurement, and delivery of large-scale appraisal projects, with a focus on alternative delivery approaches. She is qualified as an expert witness through the courts, having appeared in several arbitrations and court hearings. Yvonne regularly provides dispute analysis and litigation support, expert reports, trial testimony, and advisory/consulting services to legal practitioners involved with real estate litigation. 

Yvonne brings industry insight and leading practice observations to the KPMG team, ensuring that such advice is characterized in a clear and logical manner. Yvonne is focused on client service and continually looks out for their interests. Yvonne provides proactive advice on valuation processes and related risk management and has helped KPMG work through any issues that arise in order to mitigate risk to the client and to KPMG. Yvonne is a Specialist Team Member in KPMG’s Global Real Estate Group whose goal it is to assist with continuity and leading practices in other countries.
