Kareen Tea

Kareen is an American Corporate Tax partner for KPMG in Canada in the Montreal office. She has more than 14 years of experience working with private company clients in a number of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, professional services, financial services, technology and private equity. During her career, she has gained extensive experience in state and local tax, as well as sales tax risks. 

Kareen works with her team to help address a wide range of U.S. tax compliance and tax planning needs in a cross-border context by optimizing existing corporate tax rates, including repatriation of surpluses. Kareen has been a guest speaker on the U.S. sales tax at the APFF and is known to her clients for her professionalism and active listening.
