Éric Thibault is a Tax Partner in the Tax Incentives team, and the Québec leader of the Government Assistance Practice. With more than 25 years of private sector and private practice experience, he manages a multidisciplinary team that provides advice to clients with the objective of maximizing government support for their growth projects to reduce their costs.
Prior to joining KPMG in Canada, Éric held senior positions in the Québec public service, which led him to gain exhaustive knowledge of governmental institutions. In addition, his experience in private practice, audit and risk management puts him at the forefront of how businesses operate. He is also an ESG Leader for Tax in Québec and is able to identify the best options available to businesses in their plans for growth, exports, automation or decarbonization.
