Naeem is a Partner with the IARC service line of KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice in Vancouver, specializing in enterprise risk management, governance, board effectiveness, and internal audit. He has over thirteen years of experience in a variety of risk assessment, evaluation and mitigation design projects in both the private and public sectors. Naeem has a wealth of experience assisting clients in the field of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management as well as a number of other governance and risk management-related areas. Throughout his career, Naeem has led a number of strategic, global risk advisory engagements across multiple industries including retail, transportation, mining, financial services as well as the Public and Not-for-Profit Sectors. Naeem has leveraged his intimate knowledge of risk management to help some of North America’s largest organizations form, develop and transform their approach to managing risk. Since joining KPMG, Naeem has primarily focused on building our Internal Audit co-source/outsource and Enterprise Risk Management capabilities in the Vancouver market by utilizing his diverse technical background to deliver quality client service. He has a profound passion for helping clients understand the importance of risk management in relation to strategy while innovatively exploring methods to turn risk and uncertainty into growth and opportunity.
