Kyle Rookes

Kyle brings nearly two decades of experience in diverse capital markets and M&A advisory, collaborating with clients across a broad range of sectors. His experience spans deal origination, negotiations and the execution of complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing transactions for private and public companies. 

As a core member of Calgary’s M&A practice, Kyle is dedicated to driving deal flow across the full spectrum of KPMG's M&A team in Calgary and Regions West. He works in close collaboration with M&A colleagues in KPMG’s Advisory and Tax practices, serving as a market-maker by identifying and shaping M&A opportunities through the cultivation of strong relationships with C-suite executives, owners of private enterprises, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Kyle devotes much of his time to his three children, enjoying activities in the great outdoors, whether it's exploring mountains and lakes or cheering them on from the sidelines of their various sporting activities. An avid outdoor sports enthusiast, he loves skiing, biking, and running. Notably, he has completed multiple Ironman triathlons, despite his personal disdain for long-distance swimming!
