Johan is an Associate in our Tax Law group, working closely with Private Enterprise Tax.

He specializes in tax and corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax planning and restructuring of corporate entities.

Johan advises clients on 

  • Income tax planning, 
  • A wide range of domestic, inbound and outbound income taxation issues affecting business operations,
  • Income tax due diligence and tax-efficient structuring  investments, financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and complex reorganizations

Johan  has practiced law in various industries during his working career including private practice, insurance, financial services, banking, tax and consulting environment. He previously worked as a legal advisor in the tax department of a government entity during which he gained extensive and valuable experience in tax and corporate law matters by providing tax services to individuals as well as corporate clients.
