Albert is a Financial Services Audit Partner at KPMG in Canada with over 22 years of experience. He has provided audit, review and accounting advisory services to a number of public and private company clients, focusing on Canadian and US financial institutions. Albert has led audit teams in retail banking, non-retail banking, as well as capital markets.
As a firm designated securities partner, Albert is also familiar with securities regulations and has been involved in numerous securities and capital raising transactions, mostly with schedule I banks. Albert is also a professional practice partner for the financial services practice in Canada assisting teams with audit and assurance inquiries.
More recently, Albert has also provided Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) assurance and readiness services to his clients and is part of the ESG Assurance leaders network in the GTA.

In addition to working with his clients, Albert has been involved in various human resource roles, including having acted as the partner-in-charge of campus recruiting for the Greater Toronto Area audit practice. He is currently the lead campus recruiting partner for the University of Waterloo. On the community front, Albert is actively involved with the Board of Governors as the chair of the finance committee at his children’s school.
