Joshua Klein

Josh is based in Toronto and is a partner in the US corporate tax group. He works closely with the real estate tax, enterprise, and TMT groups in supporting their client base as they navigate the complexities of US taxation.

Josh’s clients include Canadian public REITs, real estate funds, asset managers, pension plans, and technology companies. He is known by his clients for providing tax technical advice that checks all the boxes, but communicated to them using non-legal language, while keeping the inherit complexity of the tax subject matter intact.

Josh has guided many Canadian businesses and funds through the complexities of US tax as they expand their US footprint through organic growth or mergers and acquisitions.
