Paul Janes

Paul is a partner in the assurance practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and serves as the Atlantic Private Enterprise Leader. With over 25 years of experience, he provides financial statement audit services and accounting advisory to a diverse client base in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. His expertise spans various industry segments, including construction, real estate manufacturing, indigenous governments, higher education, municipal, and not-for-profit. He is well-versed in reporting frameworks such as ASPE, PSAS, NPO, and IFRS.

Paul is responsible for coordinating the audit, ensuring its quality, and seeing it through to completion. His clients value his collaborative approach and responsiveness in helping them navigate complex accounting and business matters. He understands the competing priorities his clients face and supports them in prioritizing their needs, all while delivering on their requirements and meeting deadlines.

Outside of his client work, Paul is passionate about giving back to the community, particularly in youth-centric ventures.
