Joanna Hojjati

Joanna is a Partner in KPMG in Canada's Governance, Risk & Compliance Services (GRCS) practice in Toronto, who has dedicated her career to helping organizations manage risk in their pursuit of success. Joanna is known for bringing her passion for building and leading teams in order to provide an exceptional service to her national and global clients. 

Joanna has over 15 years of leadership experience in the field of internal audit, internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) compliance with SOX and NI 52-109, enterprise risk management, as well as regulatory and governance advisory.  Joanna focuses on helping internal audit functions position themselves as strategic advisors within their organizations through upskilling and sourcing collaborations. She is also a trusted advisor regarding ICFR program establishment and cost-effective maintenance, IPO readiness, methodology advisory, and control optimization assessments among others. 

Joanna has a diversified industry experience with a focus on technology, media, telecom, consumer, retail and industrial markets as our GRCS leader for these sectors.
