Ian is an Associate Partner in KPMG’s Management Consulting Practice. He has over thirty years of experience in applying information technology to support business innovation, including twenty years of business and system design experience using enterprise architecture and business reference model techniques particularly in the public sector. For the past 15 years, he has been involved in eGovernment projects and in the modernization of service delivery for federal, provincial/state and local governments.

Ian is a member of the Enterprise Architecture leadership team in Canada and led the development of KPMG’s global method for enterprise architecture. He is also the Chief Architect for the development of KPMG’s Enterprise Reference Architecture for public services. Key services areas that Ian focuses on are large scale digital transformations and the development of a transformation governance and management capability within public sector organizations.
