Elgar Gong

Elgar is an associate with KPMG Law LLP and practices out of the Toronto office with a focus on Indirect Tax.

Elgar has experience advising in the areas of GST/HST, Digital Services Tax (DST) and information reporting requirements for Digital Platform Operators. He regularly provides GST/HST and DST advice to large clients in all sectors, with a focus on the retail and technology sectors. He also assists clients in audits and objections with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Prior to joining KPMG in Canada’s Indirect Tax Practice, Elgar articled at KPMG Law and assisted with various stages of litigation at the Ontario Court of Justice.
