Kyle Friesen

Kyle is a partner with KPMG in Canada’s Winnipeg Tax practice. A significant component of Kyle’s tax practice is devoted to structuring tax-effective divestitures and acquisitions where he has extensive experience working with privately owned corporations and their shareholders to maximize after-tax returns. He also works with a broad range of both Private and Public organizations as well as individuals, Trusts, Estates, and Partnerships.

Kyle is a member of KPMG's National M&A and Divestiture Group and National Private Company Tax Team ensuring he is at the forefront of emerging topics, changes in legislation, and new planning techniques that he communicates directly with his active client base.

Kyle is currently pursuing his CBV designation which provides him with a unique perspective to tax planning, specifically with acquisitions and divestitures and complements the work he does to facilitate Business Transition Planning and Estate Planning of the family business.
