With 20 years of experience in corporate and international tax planning, Didier Frechette is Partner, Corporate Tax and Merger and Acquisition. Acting for a diversified client base, including public corporations, private equity funds, REITs, and private enterprises, he is particularly experienced in mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, cross-border transactions, tax due diligence and internal reorganizations.
His experience also includes advising Canadian-based multinationals in the context of foreign and domestic acquisitions, innovative equity-based incentive plans, tax due diligence for domestic and international acquisitions and negotiating and obtaining advance tax rulings from the Canada Revenue Agency. Didier also has significant expertise in investment fund structuring, including private equity funds, venture capital funds and infrastructure funds.
