Paul is a senior practitioner in the Canadian restructuring community with over 20 years of restructuring experience. Paul serves as KPMG’s Global Head of Turnaround and Restructuring, as well as leading the Turnaround & Restructuring service line at KPMG in Canada, where he supports both debtor and lender clients with a variety of services, including restructuring, crisis & risk management, distressed M&A, financing, performance improvement, cost reduction, and change management.
Paul’s experience spans many industries, such as mining, financial services, gaming & casinos, construction, life sciences, manufacturing, aerospace, food & beverage, and automotive. Paul has led high-profile and complex restructuring and acted as a witness in both Canadian and US insolvency proceedings. He is a CPA with a CIRP specialist designation, a licensed insolvency trustee, and a recognized Fellow of INSOL. Paul is a past gold medalist on the Canadian Insolvency and Restructuring exam, and is a CPA-IFA, recognized as a specialist in forensic accounting.
