Karl is currently the Partner-in-Charge of the US Corporate Tax group in KPMG’s office in Vancouver. He has been with KPMG for nearly 20 years, specializing in US corporate tax and integrating US and Canadian tax rules to help multi-nationals with their US operations. He advises clients in the retail, manufacturing, biotech, transportation, mining and real estate industries. Karl helps clients in public and private sectors understand the complex US tax rules and how they relate to their business and investments. Karl also has experience with cross-border P3 projects. He has published comprehensive articles and participated in speaking engagements about the Canada-US Treaty.
