Robert Coelho

Robert Coelho is a bilingual Partner in Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution at KPMG LLP, with both CPA and MBA designations. Prior to this role, Robert worked at the Canada Revenue Agency for many years in various leadership positions. Most notably, he assumed the positions of Chief of Appeals, Assistant Director of Audit, Director of Programs, Director General of the Collections Verifications Branch, and most recently, he was the Director of the Hamilton/Niagara Tax Services Office. Through these roles, Robert has also navigated international tax legislation as he consulted with the Australian Tax Authority and Her Majesty’s Revenue. Working at an international level afforded him the ability to navigate more complex tax compliance issues and streamline best practices across the Commonwealth. Robert has coached many executives in the Federal Government, using his certification as a Professional Coach, issued by Integral Coaching Canada.
