Gordon is a partner and group leader of KPMG in Canada's Toronto M&A tax practice. His practice focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and divestitures. He has extensive experience in advising Canadian and foreign multi-national corporations, Canadian pension, private equity, and infrastructure funds.

In the past 20 years, Gordon has been involved in over 1,000 acquisition tax structuring, tax due diligence and tax modeling projects, representing a broad range of foreign and Canadian clients. Gordon also has extensive experience in advising clients with complex reorganizations and divestitures.

Gordon has written and presented frequently in taxation. He has published articles in various publications, including the Canadian Tax Journal and has presented for organizations such as Federated Press, STEP Canada, and various Industry Associations.
