Zarina Bhambhani

Zarina is a Partner in KPMG’s Audit practice. She has experience in KPMG’s offices in Edmonton, Calgary, and New York providing audit and business advisory services to clients covering a wide variety of industries, with a focus on entities that are publicly listed on the TSX and/or NYSE. Zarina has led various audit engagements for clients reporting under the IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP frameworks, including various financial reporting framework transitions and assistance with technical accounting matters. Her specific experience includes leading financial statement and integrated audits, review of internal control testing, analysis of complex accounting issues, detailed review of client financial statements against applicable reporting standards, managing and coaching staff, and monitoring the engagement process. Zarina has also assisted clients with numerous financing transactions, including several IPOs in both Canada and the US. Zarina currently leads the Precision Drilling Corporation and EPCOR Utilities Inc. engagement teams. Other representative clients include: North American Energy Partners, Bonavista Energy, Estee Lauder, BASF, and Capital Power Corporation. She also serves on KPMG’s National PCAOB Topic Team, assisting engagement teams of SEC registrants with matters related to audit quality and regulatory inspections.
