Nancy Bouchard is a Partner in Indirect Tax in Montréal. Over the course of her career, she has advised and assisted numerous clients from a variety of industries with respect to planning, compliance, legislative interpretation, audit and other issues relating to GST, HST, QST, PST and other indirect taxes. She demonstrates dedicated skills in legal interpretation, drafting and negotiations with tax authorities.
Over the past few years, she has developed extensive knowledge in the financial services sector by serving clients such as pension plans, financial institutions, investment limited partnerships, investment funds, brokers and insurance companies. She has carried out many specific and complex mandates, including the development of allocation methods for claiming ITCs and ITRs, the determination of the status of entities as financial institutions, listed financial institutions and selected listed financial institutions. She has also assisted clients with specific compliance issues affecting financial institutions.
