Joey Bogle

Joey is an associate with KPMG Law LLP and practices out of the Calgary office with a focus on domestic and international corporate tax planning. While practicing at KPMG, Joey has gained broad experience assisting major Canadian pension plans and pension investment boards with their investments and assisting multinationals on numerous tax matters.  

Prior to joining KPMG Law, Joey articled and clerked at the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa. In law school, Joey participated in the Donald G.H. Bowman Tax Moot, and wrote several published works on GAAR and the MLI PPT, one of which was cited by the Supreme Court of Canada in their 2021 Alta Energy Luxembourg Decision.

Joey has acquired a broad range of experience working with both public and private sector entities relating to fund investments, and reorganizations and restructurings in addition to experience with tax disputes and objections with CRA.
