Hayley Brown

Hayley is a partner in KPMG’s Canadian Corporate Tax practice in Vancouver with over 12 years of experience providing tax advisory, compliance, and provision services in the Vancouver market. Her clients range from large to small public and private corporations with Canadian domestic and multinational operations. Her skills include domestic and international tax compliance and planning as well as accounting for income taxes under IFRS and US GAAP. She has also been involved with tax due diligence and transaction structuring on numerous acquisitions and divestitures. Hayley focuses on income tax issues for mining and resource companies as part of the Global Centre of Excellence for mining tax in Vancouver. She has a strong understanding of operational and industry-specific issues and the related income tax and financial statement implications for mining companies. She is experienced with all phases of the life cycle of a mining company from exploration and development through operations and closure.
