Edouard is a Partner in charge of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practice at KPMG in Canada. Prior to moving to Toronto in 2017, Edouard led KPMG’s ERM practice in Singapore, Center of Excellence of South East Asia. He led numerous risk transformation projects in Canada, Singapore, Asia and the Middle East and helped clients successfully achieve their governance and risk management agendas.
Edouard advised our clients on large-scale risk and change transformation projects across industries including Financial Institutions (banks, pension funds, sovereign funds, insurance), Energy, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Government and Retail. His expertise includes design and maturity review of risk operating models against leading practices (e.g. OSFI, ISO31000, COSO, FSB, Basel, Solvency, ICD); review, analyze and recommend allocation of clear risk accountabilities following the 3 LOD model (including definition of design principles: effective challenge, efficiency, competencies, independence etc.); risk strategy and governance; board governance, effectiveness review and education; compliance; risk appetite and tolerance limits; risk functions’ set-up; KRIs; RCSA; risk policies and procedures; incident/risk event database; risk management automation; risk reporting and data aggregation, scenario analysis and linkage and integration of the various risk management building blocks in business processes and decision-making.
