As a leader in KPMG Canada’s Indirect Tax Financial Institution group, Christian has assisted many clients in all financial sectors. His focus on supporting his clients with their GST/HST and QST compliance requirements has driven the development and automation of many of KPMG’s indirect tax compliance processes and tools. In addition to assisting clients with their reporting requirements, Christian has added value by developing, improving and defending client Input Tax Credit refund methodologies; recovering significant amounts of overpaid taxes; and assisting clients in managing government audits.
Christian is a frequent speaker at industry association events and has delivered interactive workshops at the CPA Commodity Tax Symposium on topics related to GST/HST and QST compliance requirements.
