Julia is a partner in the Department of Professional Practice – Audit and Assurance, overseeing the Canadian Securities review program. With over 25 years of public accounting experience across multiple industries, she provides attest and non-attest services related to financial reporting, audit, and securities filings. She has served on Canadian reporting issuer and SEC registrant audits of several large multinational companies. She has also spent time in technical accounting role specializing in share-based compensation arrangements and segment reporting in both IFRS and US GAAP frameworks. Her background includes rotations with the US firm's Department of Professional Practice working on internal audit file reviews and consulting on audit and reporting matters. Julia also spent one year on a secondment at the Ontario Securities Commission's Chief Accountant’s Office.
Julia now serves as an audit partner on SEC registrants as well as the SEC reviewing partner for various large SEC registrant entities.
