Gabriela is a partner in the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG in Canada. She has over 20 years of experience (including 10 years of IFRS audit and financial advisory experience in Central and Eastern Europe across various industry sectors), providing training, technical advice and guidance in the application of IFRS. Gabriela is the Canadian and global leader of KPMG’s IFRS Presentation Issues Topic Team, where she works with professionals around the globe analyzing and interpreting presentation-related matters. She also leads the Canadian firm’s initiatives on the application of IFRS to carve-out/combined financial statements, and the Canadian IFRS Impairments Topic Team.
