Michael Ickman is a Partner at KPMG. His role includes leading various growth and operating initiatives within the KPMG Private Enterprise assurance practice, with a focus on technology, process and client experience. Michael also sits on KPMG’s National ESG Council, where he oversees the firm’s National ESG product offering and go-to-market strategy for SMEs.
With a 15 year background in audit and finance, Michael has audited and advised SME and large private and public companies from a wide spectrum of industries. In addition, Michael has served as Chief Financial Officer for a high-growth Montreal-based micro-cap technology company, where he played a key role in taking the company public, and raising funds from debt, capital markets and government programs. Michael is recognized by clients for steering them in the right direction, delivering results under tight deadlines and by colleagues for creating an open and safe work environment where everyone can voice their ideas and opinions.
