Mike is an Executive Director at KPMG in Canada’s Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Corporate Tax practice. He leads KPMG in Canada’s Japanese Tax Practice and has been a key member since he started with the firm. He also assisted in developing the Japanese Practice into a leading practice in Canada.
Mike has provided many Japanese, Korean, and US multinational corporations with Canadian domestic and cross-border tax compliance and tax advisory services. These were in aspects of corporate tax planning for clients; from start-up to mature operating situations in a number of industries.
In addition, Mike has extensive experience in a broad range of industries, including multinational trading, freight forwarding and logistics, retail, distribution and manufacturing operations in automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products.
