      As a Partner in the Family Office practice, Emily brings over 20 years of experience at the firm, including having served as the Chief People Officer, leading a team of over 200 HR professionals; and acted as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and Senior Partner for eight years.

      She has a unique mix of technical, operational and interpersonal skills which she brings to our Family Office practice. Her strong communication skills enable her to navigate diverse stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and clarity, which is particularly helpful in settings involving family dynamics and long-term decision making. She has been a trusted advisor to senior leaders and is a sought-out coach and mentor to high performing team members. 

      Emily is a CPA who also holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a Masters of Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. She is in the process of securing her Family Enterprise Advisor accreditation.
